Greetings, dear readers! It's Dird here, and I've got an exciting story to share with you. So, gather around and listen closely.
The Big Reveal
One fine day, I couldn't contain my excitement any longer, and I blurted out to the F.A.R.T team, "Guys, guess what I bought?" You could almost feel the curiosity in the room, as everyone waited for the big reveal.
And there it was, in all its retro glory – an in-box Commodore 64, complete with controllers, games, and even a disk drive, which I'd found on eBay. A true relic of gaming history, this classic machine was about to embark on a new adventure.
Setting Up the Nostalgia
I set up the Commodore 64 in Tealy's room, where we had the advantage of AV support for our vintage treasure. Tealy's eyes sparkled with anticipation as we powered up the device, eager to dive into a world of classic gaming.
Tealy's Surprise
What none of us realized was that Tealy had a secret project in the works for the C64. He'd been diligently working on a game he affectionately called "TTGFLJTANOE" (short for Tealy's Terrible Game For Literally Just Tealy And No One Else). With a sly grin, Tealy inserted the disk, ready to unveil his creation.
The "Masterpiece" Unveiled
However, when the game loaded, it turned out to be quite a surprise – or should I say, a "Tealy" of a game. It featured a poorly made dancing sprite of Tealy, controllable with the arrow keys. While it might not have been a gaming masterpiece, it was an unexpected delight.
Blara's Cake Conundrum
Blara, never one to shy away from a challenge, decided to dive into coding. She aimed to create a picture of a cake on the C64. She succeeded but hit a small hiccup: when she typed "EAT," the cake vanished, leaving her to rewrite the entire code. Frustrated, she accidentally wiped out her progress.
Dird's Virtual House
I tried my hand at game development as well, creating a game where you could roam around a virtual house. But, as is often the case with our quirky adventures, chaos ensued.
Beric's Juicy Mishap
Enter Beric, sipping on Lemorangcantaloupplbananathingie Juice, and a fateful slip that would go down in F.A.R.T Team history. Beric slipped and spilled his drink all over the Commodore 64, creating a small spark that gave Tealy an unexpected jolt, and just like that, the vintage wonder was no more.
Back to Square One
In the end, I had to return the C64, but not without a chuckle and a memorable tale to share. While our gaming experience may have taken an unexpected turn, it's all part of the F.A.R.T Team's unique journey. Who knows what gaming escapade awaits us next?
Stay tuned for more quirky stories from the F.A.R.T Team, where every adventure is an opportunity for laughter and friendship. 🎮🕹️
